Battery Life and Location Updates
Important: You can check your pet’s live location at any time by opening the app and pressing 'Update.'
Battery Life:
Typically, the device can last up to 5 days on a single charge.
The battery life depends on the strength of the connection to nearby cellular towers.
Fully recharging the battery takes just 30 minutes.
Location Updates:
The device updates its location every 45 seconds in the app during normal use.
In an emergency, you can activate ‘Live Tracking’ mode for updates every 10 seconds for 10 minutes. After that, it will return to the regular update interval.
10 YEAR SIM PLAN:
*Our NEW 10-Year SIM includes 500 MB of data, estimated to last up to 10 years based on typical usage of around 4 MB per month with daily use of the Roam Safe Pet Tracker. Individual usage may vary.
Your plan stays active until the data is fully used or the 10-year period ends, whichever comes first. When the data is depleted or the 10 years are up, you can conveniently purchase an additional 500 MB data pack for only $99.
The Roam Safe Tracker operates across Australia, utilising the strongest available cellular network in your current location. As long as there is adequate local network coverage, the device's GPS and cellular technology ensure reliable and accurate tracking, providing peace of mind wherever your pet roams.
