Warranty Policy

PART I: GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

This document outlines the warranty policy for Roamr products. It does not supersede any legal rights provided under the law but serves as an additional protection for Roamr product owners. The policy aims to streamline the process of warranty claims, ensuring efficiency for all parties involved, subject to the conditions outlined below. 

I. Coverage and Application 

a) Roamr warrants that all Roamr products are of acceptable quality and free from latent defects. 

b) A "Roamr product" refers to any product manufactured by or on behalf of Roamr. 

II. Warranty Period 

a) The duration of the warranty varies depending on the specific Roamr product and begins on the date of receipt, as indicated by the courier's tracking number. Refer to "Part II: Special Conditions" for the warranty period applicable to each product. 

III. Warranty Claim 

a) To make a warranty claim, if you believe your Roamr product is defective or does not meet the specified conditions, contact us via email at hello@roamr.co or visit www.roamr.co

b) It's imperative to provide a detailed list of the Roamr product(s) in question via email to initiate the claim process. 

c) Claims must be made within the warranty period. Failure to notify Roamr of defects within this period may void the warranty. 

d) Upon receipt of a valid claim, Roamr or its agent will assess the product. If deemed necessary, Roamr will repair or replace the product, depending on the nature of the issue. 

e) In the event of a major failure, you may choose to reject the product. The standard warranty periods are outlined in "Part II," though individual claims may vary. 

f) If a claim is deemed invalid, you may be charged for assessment costs incurred by Roamr. 

IV. Warranty Transferability 

a) The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. 

b) In cases of authorized product replacement, the new product inherits the remaining warranty period of the original purchase. 

c) If sending the product to Roamr is impractical, alternative inspection and repair arrangements can be discussed. 

 

V. Warranty Exclusions 

a) The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, fire, water damage, theft, misuse, improper operation, unauthorized modifications or use of non-standard parts (eg. sim card replacement). 

b) Second-hand purchases and rental/leased products are not covered unless otherwise specified. 

c) Service costs for consumable parts are not covered. 

d) Products without original serial and IMEI numbers are excluded from warranty coverage. 

e) Loss of data is not covered; customers are responsible for data backup. 

PART II: SPECIAL CONDITIONS 

I. Parts and Accessories Warranty 

a) Parts and accessories purchased with the Roamr product are covered under warranty for a specified period. 

b) Claims for lost or missing parts require evidence of the missing item. 

II. Parts and Labour Warranty 

Unless stated otherwise, the warranty covers costs for parts and labor required for repair.
